By Jack Ray published by the Gauge 0 Guild.

As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations the Guild published this book detailing many of the best layouts produced by Guild members over the last 50 years.  Each has a number of pictures and a track plan together with a potted history of the railway and or its owner.  Many of those that appear in this nicely produced volume have also been featured in the slide show or video schemes, sometimes both.  References are made to the relevant programme in the text.

As an historical record it is an important document.  As a wonderful, nostalgic read about - sadly in many cases long gone - model railways it a book to have on the bedside table to delve into and savour as the mood takes one.
