Railway Works
Now that I am retiring from 'normal' work, I have the time and workshop resources to build for others on a regular basis.  So, I offer my services as a builder for that project you want to complete but do not have either the time or perhaps the inclination to build yourself.  Elswhere on this site you can view many examples of my work.

What the clients say:

A master with a soldering iron, neat and tidy construction.  Models that run as well as they look  JM P/Way train
Guarantee.  All my work is guaranteed and no project leaves my workshop unless it works as intended.  Any subsequent problems that may arise due to faulty workmanship or materials will be fixed at no further costs other than carriage, see 45xx disaster.

Dear Raymond,

You have built a number of items from Black Duncan - a stalwart of the loco fleet, to humble cattle wagons - that work regularly on my layout, Tarbert.  Each and every one is built faultlessly and does what it says on the tin.  Thanks!  Geoff Bennet  GWR Beetle,  BR Brake Van,  NER 10T Brake VanLNER Mites,  GWR Fruit D.

Painting.
Generally, I do not paint but have a number of top class painters with whom I work and their fees can also be agreed in advance.  Where a client wishes to arrange his or her own painting, the project can be supplied finished in primer or bare metal.
