The Guild was 50 years old in 2007. It was originally
set up to encourage the trade to provide kits and parts to stop
the Gauge dying out. In this it has been phenomenally successful
and all of us who model in 7mm to the foot owe those
founders a great deal. At the 2005 AGM, the 18 remaining
founders members were all made honorary life members.
Some of the benefits of being a member of the Guild are:
We hold three exhibitions a year, one in spring, one in
summer and one in the autumn. Without doubt the highlight of
the year is
the two day autumn event called "Guildex" at Telford
International Exhibition centre each September.

produced and distributed to all members around the world.
