One for the historians.
An erudite book filled with of illustrations of original documents, plans and photographs; additionally it contains footnotes, references, a bibliography and an index, making it an excellent work of reference for the student of all things Swindonian.
It is a very comprehensive history of the works up to and including, its demise and conversion into a museum and shopping centre.
I found it fascinating but not an ‘easy’ read and it will sit on my shelves as a valuable reference work to delve into when required.
A book for historians and dedicated Western fans.
