7mm Railway People.
Some weeks ago, Pete Armstrong asked me if I would review some of his miniature people designed for 7mm, or, more correctly in this case, 1:43 scale.
Two packs arrived, one a fireman leaning on a shovel and a driver, who has extra arms including one with a mug of tea. They had little or no flash and the driver will stand up if the soles of his boots are filed flat.
They are designed to fit the 1940s scene and, though I have photographed them on the ground (when they got off to take a break), are meant to be fitted in a cab.
I cannot see much, if any, difference between them and the men I remember at Tyseley so they should cover for the fifties and early sixties too.
Ian has done a great job of painting them and they are pictured by the only engine I have that is suitable for them since my modelling period is now 1900-10.
They will be fitted into the cab in due course. I think they are excellent.
