This kit has been sitting in a cupboard for a few years and came, I think, as part of trade.  There are comprehensive instructions in the form of a bound, 18 page, A4 booklet.  Ten of those pages are isometric drawings, very useful.  The kit comes packed in a strong box, which I suppose the tight fisted among you would consider capable of holding the finished model.  This one will have a proper wooden box to live in when not running somewhere.  However, exactly where it will run, given my place and period to model, is something of a mystery.  Perhaps I'll sell it on or trade it again.

The frames. The frames are of quite thin nickel silver, 0.7mm but, once they are assembled make up into a strong and relatively rigid unit.

Hornguides.I am going to have a crack at a fully sprung chassis for this job and also try out Holiday Hobby's horn guides ( Horn guides review) and will post more on this when I have progressed further.  N.B.  The hornguides were used on the DJH A3 kit.

The rods are conventional laminates and there are steel rivets to make proper articulated joints.

That was as far as I had got before the dreaded DIY descended so, ....to be continued.
